Possible causes :
- The quota for the user reached their limit.
The quota reached max when there are email account sending out emails more that limit allowed per day. (Can be symptoms for spams)
To clear the quota limit, go to directory and edit the username’s quota file:
cd /etc/virtual/usage
vim (username)
Eg : vim swangarde
Full quota content should looks like this :
11111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111
Clear all content and save the file.
The user should be able to send email again.
TIPS : If you suspecting there are spams activity, use below command to see the sources of the spams :
cat /etc/virtual/usage/swangarde.bytes | grep outgoing
