By default, VM will create based on Sockets, if customer using SQL express or SQL standard and above or any application which is based on core, we need change VM to core or socket they required

For Example: SQL express support only 1 CPU and X core

1. Right click VM > Edit Settings > CPU

Picture show below is 2 CPU (Sockets) and 2 core

2. To change 1 CPU (Sockets) and 4 Core, just change the Core per Socket to 4 and it will become 1 CPU (Sockets) with 4 Core
