How To: Faster Way to Assigned/Create Backup for New Customer via VMware Tagging

  Public Cloud, Veeam, VMWare

Login to Public Cloud Cluster > Select New Customer VM

In VM Summary > Tags > Click Assign….

Select backup tagging based on VM location.

For Cluster1 – Cluster1_DailyBackups_Retention30
For Cluster2 – Cluster2_DailyBackups_Retention30
For Cluster3 NonHA – Cluster3NonHA_DailyBackups_Retention30

Example: if this new customer VM is located on cluster1 select > Cluster1_DailyBackups_Retention30 > Click Assign
