We common heard of blacklist but there is also whitelist and both of these are ways of filtering data. Before we proceed any further, we need to be clear about both of this. In computing, a blacklist is a basic access control mechanism that allows everyone access, except for the members of the black list (i.e. list of denied accesses). Meanwhile, whitelist allow nobody, except members of the white list.
There are also greylist which contains entries that are temporarily blocked or temporarily allowed. Greylist items may be reviewed or further tested for inclusion in a blacklist or whitelist. You can follow the steps below after SSH to the nameserver.
First, change to blacklist directory
cd /etc/vaderetro/blacklist
Then, switch to edit mode
vi current.conf
Add the whitelist domain and save
[whitefrom]
*cidb.gov.my
*@@cathaypacific.com
*@schwab.com
Lastly, restart the vrspamd service with following command line:
For CentOS 5 and 6
/etc/init.d/vrspamd restart
For CentOS 7
systemctl restart vrspamd
