How To: Create Customer/Tenant from Veeam Cloud Connect Console without Veeam Service Provider Console

1. Login to RDM server and remote to below server:

For AIMS-CJ1 – VCCVBR-1
Infra Support Platform:
– Veeam Cloud Connect Backup
– Veeam Cloud Connect Replicate for Hyper-V only

For AIMS-KL – T-DR-CCVBR-1
Infra Support Platform:
– Veeam Cloud Connect Backup
– Veeam Cloud Connect Replicate for VMware only

***Please check customer requirement before assigned replication resource, as different region support different HOST***

2. Go to Cloud Connect > Tenants > Add tenant

3. Specify tenant name, password, assigned cloud resource types and optional contract expiration date

4. For Assigned resources

Option 1 – For Backup only (Backup storage) ***If customer subscribe only only cloud backup***

– Select Max concurrent task, and bandwidth to limit for this new tenant

– Create Cloud repositories and quota for this new tenant

– Backup repository please select as below:

For AIMS-CJ1- MyCyberVCC_Backups (Customer Global Share Cloud Storage)

For AIMS-KL – CS-GLOBALVCC (Customer Global Share Cloud Storage)

– Next, Click Finish and Copy password to clipboard

Option 2 – Replication resources (cloud host) ***If customer subscribe replication***

– Before Assigned resource, go to Cloud Connect > Replica Resources > Add hardware plan

– Specify a name

– Select Host and assigned CPU and Memory resource

At the moment Hyper-V only support on AIMS-CJ1 infra ***If customer environment using Hyper-v, select Hyper-v host***

At the moment VMware only support on AIMS-KL infra ***if customer environment using VMware select VMware host***

– Next, specify storage resource

– Next, specify network resources > Click Apply or Finish

– Next, got to edit existing or add new tenant > check Replication resource (cloud host)

– In Replica Resource > Select hardware plan you create just now

If customer want to simplify network during failover, select Use Veeam network extension capabilities during partial and full site failover, this option will help to automate create virtual firewall for on DR side and also local side for site to site VPN

If customer want to have 3rd party solution such as physical firewall during failover, this option can be uncheck

– Next, Network Extension ***this option available only when Use Veeam network extension capabilities is checked***

– This option is to create virtual firewall appliance on DR site

For AIMS-CJ1 (Hyper-V) – Select External network as VCC NEA vSwitch

For AIMS-KL (VMware) – Select External network as TCloudDR CCNEAVM Network

– Configure free available public IP for tenant virtual firewall appliance and allocate how many public IP addresses customer subscribe

Different region using different IP, please check on our network inventory or you can go to Manage check which Public IP address is free to use

Next click Apply and Finish firewall virtual appliance will start to deploy
